Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar in Reston, VA seeks a back-of-house line cook to support kitchen managers and ensure high-quality ramen execution. You will help maintain cleanliness and assist with guest-friendly service, working with the team to deliver a consistent dining experience.

The role requires at least 1 year in a restaurant, strong English communication, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Training, uniforms, and a fast-paced, collaborative environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year restaurant experience with knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
• Outstanding and professional verbal and written skills; multi-tasking.
• Willing to follow instructions and ask for clarification.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate team.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items per recipe/instructions from Kitchen Manager.
• Adhere to kitchen safety procedures and use equipment properly.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and follow food handling standards.
• Follow health, safety and JINYA policies; greet guests warmly.
• Assist Kitchen Manager and front-of-house team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members; participate in meetings.
