Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar in Washington, DC is seeking BOH team members to support Kitchen Managers and ensure guest satisfaction through perfect ramen execution. BOH Team Members ensure high quality and consistency in all food production while supporting the Kitchen Manager and the front of house team for an amazing dining experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of restaurant experience, ability to follow safety procedures, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year restaurant experience.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items per Kitchen Manager instructions.
Follow kitchen safety procedures and equipment operation.
Maintain kitchen sanitation and food handling standards.
Adhere to health, safety and JINYA policies.
Engage with team and guests in a positive manner.
Attend meetings and be ready to work at scheduled times.
Assist guests with menu questions and accommodations.
Communicate clearly with front and back of house teams.
Promote JINYA values of Teamwork, Hospitality, Authenticity, Creativity and Integrity.
Complete tasks assigned by managers.
