Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Engineering Project Manager I to oversee project lifecycles from scope development to contract negotiation on federal or large-scale infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and client communications, while coordinating cross-discipline teams to resolve design challenges and deliver results.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with substantial relevant experience and a track record in leading project teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience recommended (PM focus).
• 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation; assist in preparing technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan; mentor team toward objectives.
• Coordinate staffing plans, recruitment, development, retention, and performance reviews.
