Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Project Manager I – Engineering to oversee one or more projects from scope through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and client satisfaction. You’ll develop technical proposals, coordinate with cross-discipline teams, and manage budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations while guiding staff and partnering with clients.

The role calls for a bachelor’s in engineering and significant project management experience; PE or related credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops project scope and fee quotations; assists with technical proposals and contracts.
• Serves as primary client liaison; manages project team to deliver scope, schedule and budgets.
• Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production.
• Leads development and execution of the project management plan; mentors staff.
