Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Project Manager I - Engineering in the Philadelphia area. You will manage projects through their lifecycle, develop scope and proposals, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to meet budgets and schedules.

You will serve as the primary client liaison, lead the project plan, and mentor staff while supporting client relationships and business development efforts. This role is based on-site in the Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification and PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project scope and fee quotation and assist in proposals and contracts.
• Primary client liaison and manage the project to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Assist with client scoping and contract negotiations.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, and production.
• Implement SDA on each project and lead the PM plan execution.
• Mentor team and coordinate staffing, development, and performance reviews.
• Support business development with SSA and prepare proposal materials.
• Lead proposal development and client presentations.
