Job summary

RailPros, Inc. seeks a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to perform on-site roadway worker protection and coordinate job sites on and around live tracks. You will manage dispatcher communication, safety briefings, and required reporting while traveling across multiple states.

Candidates should have at least 5 years RWIC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be able to complete background checks and drug testing. Strong safety and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of RWIC experience with a Class I or II railroad.
• Pre-employment and ongoing background checks and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide site protection on assignments per railroad rules.
• Conduct daily job briefings and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare required electronic forms and reports.
• Place signs and derail equipment as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with RWIC supervisors and teams.
