Job summary

RailPros, Inc. is seeking a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to provide on-site roadway worker protection on and around live railroad tracks. You will coordinate job sites, handle dispatcher/train communications, and ensure On-Track Safety compliance across various track areas.

The role requires 100% on-the-road travel across multiple states, including Oregon, with daily per diems and mileage reimbursement. High school diploma or GED and 2+ years in MOW/TY&E are required.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in Maintenance in Way (MOW) and/or TY&E.
• Proficient in radio procedures for RWIC/EIC and groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide required jobsite protection on each assignment per rules.
• Perform daily job briefings and ensure safety compliance.
• Submit electronic forms: job setup, daily reports, invoices, etc.
• Manage signs, derail, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with RWIC supervisors and managers.
