Union Pacific Railroad Welder Helper in Texas is part of a dedicated team maintaining railroad tracks. You will engage in welding-related tasks, repairs, and track component handling to ensure safe, efficient train movement across North America.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B (or the ability to obtain), and the ability to pass an English assessment. Willingness to travel and work varying shifts is expected.

Formación

• Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A or B, or the ability to obtain during probation.
• Able to comprehend regulations and instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must successfully complete an English assessment before interview.

Responsabilidades

• Perform track maintenance: repairs, installations, and component removals.
• Use load/unload devices to move track materials and equipment.
• Monitor track conditions and observe right-of-way and passing trains.
• Operate equipment to drive spikes and adjust track bolts.
• Maintain trackbed by replacing and compacting ballast.
• Foster positive relationships and manage conflicts.
• Follow FRA safety rules and guidelines.
• Carry out additional duties as needed.
