Job summary

Union Pacific Corporation in Ranger, TX is seeking a Track Laborer - Regional to maintain and repair railroad tracks within a designated territory. You will perform maintenance and installations, operating equipment under safety guidelines to ensure the safe movement of trains and reliable service across North America.

This role requires CDL upon hire and an English assessment before interview, with opportunities to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules, bulletins, and instructions.
• Must complete an English assessment prior to interview.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, FRA requirements, and company guidelines.
• Handle and transport track materials and equipment using appropriate load/unload devices.
• Perform regular maintenance, repair, installation and removal of track components.
• Maintain trackbed, ballast and related tasks.
• Operate equipment to drive spikes, tighten track bolts, and remove spikes.
• Other duties as assigned.
