Watco is hiring a Track Laborer in Washington to help inspect, repair, and maintain railroad track infrastructure, ensuring safe and reliable service for customers. This is a manual labor role with on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within the company.

The position offers starting pay of $22.00 per hour, with required safety training and the chance to operate equipment and learn track maintenance procedures. Applicants must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must pass required safety and training certifications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, repair and maintain rail infrastructure to ensure safe service.
• Assist with loading/unloading and installation of rail components.
• Inspect and repair track turnouts and related infrastructure.
• Maintain track surface, gauge and roadbed as directed.
• Read and follow safety rules, instructions and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as backhoe and track hoe as needed.
