Job summary

Watco is seeking a Track Laborer to inspect, repair and maintain railroad track infrastructure to keep services running safely and efficiently. This is a manual labor role that requires commitment to training and safety standards at Watco facilities and on-site locations.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, High School or GED, and the possibility to pursue a Class A CDL. Training courses are provided to develop core track maintenance skills and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain railroad track infrastructure to ensure safe service.
• Assist with inspecting, loading & unloading rail components and track materials.
• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and construction of track turnouts and related infrastructure.
• Read gauges and maintenance manuals; follow safety rules and regulations.
• Respond to incidents or emergencies and report findings promptly.
