Job summary

Phillips 66 in Houston, TX is seeking a Rail Coordinator III on a W2 contract. This role requires coordinating with rail vendors and internal stakeholders to monitor bulk liquids handling and rail fleet trends.

You will track fleet equipment, manage car allocations, and communicate with railroads to resolve service issues. Responsibilities include billing support, data discrepancies resolution, and generating rail reports for regulatory testing and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Interface with rail vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in tracking rail fleet data and metrics.
• Experience with rail operations coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tracking and tracing of rail fleet equipment in the rail tracking system and railroad systems.
• Ensure shipment information is populated in Transmetrics TMS and cars are allocated appropriately.
• Maintain proactive communication with railroads to resolve service issues (First Mile and Last Mile).
• Generate bills of lading, diversions and reships as needed.
• Assist with managing EDI billing issues as they arise.
• Assist Rail Operations to resolve data discrepancies in Transmetrics TMS.
• Coordinate with Rail Coordinators to manage rail fleet at storage facilities.
• Develop and manage rail reports for rail pipeline and regulatory testing.
• Assist with supply management of empty and loaded railcars to/from all P66 locations.
• Analyze rail movement data to build metrics, identify cost drivers and trends.
