Job summary

Siemens Mobility in St. Louis is seeking a Field Service Technician to support coordination and implementation of service and maintenance for the Charger locomotive fleet. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

The role requires interpreting electrical diagrams, troubleshooting AC/DC systems, and delivering on-site training and technical guidance. Travel up to 10% and a strong customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience in industrial settings.
  • Experience troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Excellent English technical communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide positive customer service with management and maintenance facility personnel.
  • Deliver high-quality technical advice to improve equipment reliability.
  • Respond to and complete troubleshoot and repair service requests.
  • Deliver ongoing system operation training for customers.
  • Coordinate with Rail Support Center and field team for communication.
