Job summary
HDR Rail is seeking an Engineer‑in‑Training to join our team on rail infrastructure projects across North America. You will work with senior engineers and mentors to develop designs, perform analyses, and contribute to deliverables for Class I, short line and regional rail clients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- EIT certification or plans to pursue licensure.
- Plans to take FE Exam.
- Internship, co‑op, or field experience related to engineering or infrastructure.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Revit, GIS or Bluebeam.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
- Assist with technical deliverables including calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
- Contribute to projects involving track, facilities, civil infrastructure and environmental services.
- Travel periodically for project meetings and field assignments.
