Amtrak leads a major rail infrastructure program, Sawtooth Bridges Replacement, with a focus on field oversight, coordination, and ensuring work aligns with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.

Reporting to program/project managers, you will collaborate with engineers, contractors, force account staff, and division leadership to execute construction in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role is onsite with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 6+ years of relevant experience required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Preferred: CCM certification and railroad/heavy civil construction experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide field oversight and coordination with contractors to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and safety.
• Monitor daily field work and ensure construction follows design and contract specifications.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Review change requests and provide justification for scope adjustments.
• Prepare weekly construction status updates and contribute to monthly project reports.
• Coordinate track and outages; plan outages when assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of Amtrak standards and FRA/OSHA safety standards.
