Qualifications

• Certified ARRT radiologic technologist (required)
• State licensure in Virginia preferred or required
• BLS certification recommended at hire

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with correct patient positioning and radiation safety
• Sets up immobilization equipment and assists in patient handling
• Documents patient encounters in EMR accurately
• Selects appropriate technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment
• Maintains skills and supports lab testing and off-site coverage as needed
• Adheres to sterile technique and infection control protocols
