Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligibile; licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiation Control Program in Radiography; CPR/BLS.
• Clinical internship completed in a hospital setting.
• Proficient use of radiologic equipment including C-arms/portable or able to be trained to competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Document patient information/history to select appropriate exam.
• Record all relevant data for contrast usage in medical records.
• Operate RIS with high accuracy and ensure image labeling.
• Maintain image quality and minimize repeats; keep repeat rate under 5%.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Work collaboratively with the team and be willing to cover off-sites and shifts.
