Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for inpatients and outpatients, including OR/ER, with emphasis on ALARA practices. The role requires maintaining patient records, accurate labeling, and image quality control using RIS and PACS.

Willingness to cover off-sites and participate in on-call rotations is expected. The ideal candidate holds an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology credential, ARRT registration or eligibility, MA

Qualifications

• AMA-accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration or eligibility.
• Massachusetts DPH Radiography license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images.
• Document patient history and information for exams.
• Use RIS and PACS with high accuracy for labeling and image management.
• Maintain image quality and control repeat rate to below 5%.
• Apply ALARA to minimize radiation exposure while achieving clear images.
• Attend to off-site coverage and on-call/holiday rotations as required.
• Maintain licensure and comply with Lahey Clinic policies and customer service standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and mandatory education.
