Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across OR, ER, and inpatient/outpatient settings. You will document patient history, ensure accurate RIS entries, and maintain low-dose imaging under ALARA principles.

The role requires ARRT registration or registry eligibility, MA licensure, and BLS. Overtime, on-call, and off-site coverage may be required for patient care across sites.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility; MA Radiation Control licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain and document patient history to guide exams.
• Document IV/oral contrast use in medical records.
• Operate RIS with accuracy during exams.
• Label images with patient data and technologist initials correctly.
• Ensure image quality using PACS and minimize repeats.
• Maintain ALARA to keep radiation dose as low as reasonably achievable.
• Support team-based patient care and willingness to work off-site as needed.
• Maintain licensure and participate in education and quality improvement.
