Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible and licensed in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical internship completed in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Obtain and document patient information for exams.
• Document contrast usage in medical records.
• Operate RIS with accuracy and label images correctly.
• Maintain image quality and use PACS for QC.
• Aim for radiographic exams with repeat rate <5%.
• Apply ALARA to minimize radiation exposure.
• Assist and coordinate with the care team, including off-site work as needed.
• Maintain licensure and comply with policies and department expectations.
