Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across diverse patient populations, including OR, ER, and inpatient/outpatient settings.

The role requires ARRT eligibility or registration, MA licensure, and BLS certification, with at least 6 months hospital experience, especially with C-arms and portable imaging. Flexibility for off-site work and on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; licensed by MA Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in Radiography.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• 6 months hospital experience preferred; with c-arms and portable experience.
• Proficient in using Radiologic equipment including C-arms/portable; able to be trained if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images used for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain and document patient information/history before exams.
• Document use of IV/oral contrast in medical records.
• Operate RIS with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Label images with patient data and technologist initials accurately.
• Ensure Quality Control using the PACS system.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Willingness to work off-sites as needed and move between departments.
