Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for inpatients and outpatients, including OR/ER and fluoroscopy. The role emphasizes ALARA and quality control, with on-call and holiday rotation required.

Compensation includes a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. The position requires MA licensure in radiography, ARRT registration, and BLS, with off-site coverage as needed and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; MA DPH Radiography license
• Basic life support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis/treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information/history for exams.
• Documents IV/oral contrast info in the medical record.
• Uses RIS with accuracy in exam setup and documentation.
• Labels images with patient information and technologist initials.
• Ensures quality control of exams using PACS.
• Maintains ALARA and minimizes radiation exposure.
• Collaborates with team to provide quality patient care.
• Willing to work off-sites and maintain licensure annually.
