Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Good Samaritan Hospital - Radiology department in Illinois. The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and 1–3 years of radiography experience. You will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and assist with advanced radiology tasks.

This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, with 4-10 hour shifts and rotating weekends, in a 2:30 PM–1:00 AM schedule. Compensation ranges from $26.55 to $39.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
• IDNS license.
• 1-3 years experience as a general radiographer.
• Certified in radiology and registered by ARRT. CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate radiologic technique and position for patient.
• Position patient and operate imaging equipment per procedure.
• Obtain and document patient history for radiologists.
• Assist radiologists with advanced procedures as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and patient shielding.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain patient records.
