Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate radiographic equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging for all patients. The role includes full-time hours, AM shift, every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Applicants should have graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, with ARRT registration or eligibility and an active CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registration or registry eligibility; active IDNS license; current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as directed by physicians.
• Maneuver portable radiographic equipment in patient care areas and in surgery as required.
• Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic examinations and surgeries as needed.
• Perform radiographic procedures on Level I Trauma patients to expedite care.
• Maintain Radiology Information System (RIS) records and ensure film labeling accuracy.
