Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Advocate South Suburban Hospital - Radiology in Illinois. This full-time role works 40 hours weekly (2:00pm-11:00pm) with rotating weekends, and offers eligible benefits.

The position requires graduation from an approved radiology technology program, CPR certification, and IDNS registry eligibility. Candidates must be able to lift and handle equipment and work with patient safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved radiology technology school.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and examine requisition for every exam to be aware of additional information such as procedure requested, patient’s condition, special notes or comments.
• Question patient before procedure to obtain a pertinent history and write that history on the requisition.
• Screen and document possible pregnancy on all female patients of child-bearing age.
• Document history, pregnancy with time and initials.
