Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT (RT) Certification with at least 1 year experience in general radiography and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Maintains proper technical parameters and documentation for quality diagnostic studies.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patient and staff.
• Ensures correct patient identification and explains procedures to patients.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and readiness; reports problems to appropriate personnel.
