Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations under the supervision of a radiologist. The role requires accurate patient history documentation and strict adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced radiology department.

Expect 40 hours weekly with evenings, on-call and holiday rotations. A sign-on bonus may be offered based on eligibility and qualifications.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Documents patient history on requisitions.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates and selects equipment per procedure requirements.
• Maintains records per departmental standards.
