Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a collaborative Patient Access specialist to support radiology scheduling at 1620 Tremont Street. Under supervision, you will register patients, schedule appointments, collect demographic and insurance information, and ensure accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare environment preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Documents patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information into the computer.
• Answers telephone, triages calls, and takes accurate messages with courtesy.
• Provides basic information and instructions to patients regarding the practice and Hospitals across the enterprise
• Ensures medical records are available to providers and patients prior to appointments.
• Transcribes call, referral and scheduling information in multiple systems accurately.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers; supports communication and service recovery when needed.
