Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a patient-focused Radiology Aide to support exam preparation, patient transport, and coordination between physicians, radiologists, and technologists. This role handles room setup, information requests, film handling, and basic equipment care in a fast-paced imaging department.

The position requires excellent communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow directions independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Basic IV insertion and venipuncture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists patient preparation for exams and transports between rooms.
• Uses radiology systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Organizes exam rooms and maintains equipment based on department needs.
• Greets patients and coordinates information requests and appointments.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, radiologists and technologists.
