Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Radiology Aide to support the CT and MRI workflow in the imaging department. You will assist patients prior to exams, transport them between rooms, and help with equipment and room readiness.

The role requires good communication, strong customer service, and basic computer skills. You will rotate through modalities and cover weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of patients, staff and physicians.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including experience in using computer applications/systems and electronic mail.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in preparation for exam and provide basic procedure instructions.
• Transport patients between exam rooms and accompany families as needed.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Organize and prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, schedule appointments, and take messages.
