Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Northridge Hospital Medical Center seeks a Radiology Aide to support the Radiology Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience. You will assist radiologists, technologists, and RNs with preparation for procedures and patient positioning.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• One year of related work experience demonstrating the required job knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Basic Life Support (AHA CPR)
• Fire Safety within 90 Days
• Medical Assistant Course (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepares trays and all supplies for various procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Retrieves and hands supplies needed during procedures.
• Obtains needed supplies for procedures performed outside of the department; brings required equipment to patient areas.
• Performs routine patient care activities as directed in accordance with established procedures.
• Assists patients in getting ready for procedures; Escorts patients to their bay; coordinates the preparation of pre-procedure paperwork.
