Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling routine inquiries, using radiology information systems to generate requisitions and verify schedules, and helping with supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture per department need.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, staff and physicians.
• Strong customer service and organizational abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills, including email and standard applications.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with team support.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients preparing for exams and provide basic procedural instruction.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and obtain patient information.
• Prepare and organize exam rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Greet patients and respond to routine inquiries; manage calls, scheduling and messages.
• Coordinate between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports or images upon request and file/Release health information records.
• Document observations and communicate patient needs to the health care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment as required.
