Job summary

Harborview Medical Center, part of UW Medicine, seeks a Patient Services Specialist 2 to support radiology scheduling and information workflows. You will manage high-volume outpatient mammography scheduling, coordinate Epic queues, and ensure accurate data entry in the EMR and PACS.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume outpatient mammography scheduling and monitor Epic queues to minimize patient waitlists.
• Proactively reach out to outside facilities to request, expedite, and track historical mammography films and radiologic reports.
• Coordinate the technical upload and data reconciliation of external medical images and reports into the UW Medicine EMR and Radiology PACS.
• Review, prioritize, and process daily ROI requests to ensure compliant disclosure of PHI.
• Provide operational cross-coverage for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room, including triaging clinician phone calls and incoming orders.
• Other duties as requested.
