Job summary

Oregon Imaging Centers, LLC is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our scheduling team. This full-time role schedules appointments, verifies orders, and ensures accurate patient data while coordinating with Pre-Authorization and Health Records departments.

We seek candidates with at least 6 months in medical offices or call centers, strong computer and typing skills, and excellent telephone etiquette. Training emphasizes radiology scheduling and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months in medical office or call center.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer and typing skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Previous medical scheduling experience (radiology preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • HIPAA knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and procedures accurately.
  • Verify orders and patient information per standards.
  • Educate patients about exam processes and directions.
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and staff with confidentiality.
