Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; gather signatures and documents.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation for prep and safety protocols, and directions.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care.
• Safeguard patient information and PHI on-site.
• Protect company property and patient financial data.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
