Hmixray is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance and collect payments in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will coordinate with back-office teams, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold patient privacy and safety protocols.

The job emphasizes friendly communication and professional care for diverse patients and families. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and experience in customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for preparatory and safety protocols and directions.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policies and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
