Hmixray in Los Angeles is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with back-office staff in a fast-paced radiology environment.

You will interact with patients, families, and staff with professionalism, safeguard patient information, and support scheduling, prep protocols, and directions to facilities in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures; ensure documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for preparatory and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect boundaries.
