Hmixray is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and uphold patient privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service and a professional demeanor.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and prior radiology/medical office exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation.
• Collect co-pays and fees and ensure accurate logging.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls; schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
• Provide patient orientation for preparatory and safety protocols; direct to facilities as needed.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property in accordance with policies and laws.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect boundaries and cultures.
