Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve patients with excellent customer service
• Register outpatients and guide them through processes
• Assist patients with completion of hospital forms
• Prepare orders for technical staff
• Maintain documentation per protocols
• Explain preparation procedures for tests in Imaging and Diagnostic Services
• Answer and transfer telephone inquiries
• Fax reports per protocols
• Use RIS to retrieve information within scope of duties
• Maintain proficiency in computer functions (RIS, email)
• Create CD copies for outside requests following HIPAA/ROI guidelines
