Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under Radiologist direction. Independent judgment is required to adapt procedures for accurate results.

The candidate must be ARRT-R, with BLS and Illinois licensure, and hold an Associate or Certificate in Radiologic Technology. The role emphasizes patient comfort, radiation safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)
• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA)
• Certificate/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures ensuring accurate examinations per policies and standards
• Serve as resource person for staff during radiographic procedures and troubleshooting
• Maintain image quality with proper filters, collimation, markers and patient ID
• Ensure patient comfort and radiation safety throughout procedures
• Maintain equipment knowledge and clean, stocked work areas
