Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures across patient ages under Radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures for quality results and ensure patient safety.

Eligibility includes ARRT certification, BLS within 30 days, and an IEMA radiography license with related radiologic technology education. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available where applicable.

Qualifications

Registered in Radiography (ARRT) with active status.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Experience in a related radiology field.

Responsibilities

Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures with accuracy and adheres to imaging standards.
Acts as resource person for staff during radiographic procedures.
Ensures image quality with proper filters, collimation, markers and patient ID.
Maintains patient comfort and radiation protection where possible.
Keeps equipment knowledge current and assists in troubleshooting.
Maintains clean work area and stocks supplies; handles lab testing as appropriate.
Assists in patient transport and workflow optimization.
Enters patient data into HIS/Radiant/PACS accurately.
