Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role emphasizes independent judgment to adapt procedures, maintain image quality, and ensure patient safety. Certification as an ARRT R, BLS within 30 days, and Illinois IEMA licensure are required, with relocation and sign-on bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT R certification is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist per IEMA or equivalent.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently within department guidelines.
• Act as resource for staff on radiographic procedures and image quality.
• Apply appropriate filters, collimation, markers and patient identification for exam quality.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection throughout procedures.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and assist with troubleshooting.
