Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and Illinois IEMA licensing/education as described, with a focus on image quality, safety, and patient comfort. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available, with comprehensive imaging department support.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT; BLS within 30 days - AHA; Licensed Radiologic Technologist - IEMA.
• Education: Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently under radiologist direction.
• Acts as resource staff for radiographic procedures; ensures image quality with appropriate filters, collimation, markers, and patient ID.
• Maintains radiation safety and patient comfort; troubleshoots equipment and keeps room stocked and ready for use.
• Trains technologists and students; contributes to quality improvement and department teamwork; supports workflow and patient transport.
