Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across patient ages under radiologist supervision. The role requires ARRT-R certification, BLS within 30 days, and an Illinois radiologic license where applicable.

You will support patient care, image acquisition, and department operations in a busy imaging service. The ideal candidate maintains high-quality imaging, adheres to safety standards, and collaborates with staff to deliver

Qualifications

ARRT registered radiographer.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Licensed radiologic technologist – Radiography (IEMA) where applicable.
Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within guidelines and standards.
Serve as resource person for staff during radiographic procedures and ensure image quality.
Utilize appropriate filters, collimation, markers, and patient identification to optimize exams.
Maintain radiation protection and patient comfort; ensure efficient care.
Troubleshoot equipment and maintain clean, stocked work area.
Enter patient information into HIS/Radiant/PACS systems accurately.
Support QA/QC and participate in department safety programs.
