Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. The role emphasizes independent judgment to adapt procedures for optimal diagnostic results while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT certification, BLS, and an Illinois radiologic license, with related radiography education and experience.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT (R) credential.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in radiologic imaging and patient care expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within department guidelines.
• Acts as resource person for staff on radiographic procedures.
• Ensures image quality with proper views, filters, collimation and patient ID.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation safety practices.
• Troubleshoots equipment and maintains clean, stocked work areas.
• Documents patient information accurately in HIS/Radiant and PACS.
