Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and active license.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Related work experience in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within guidelines and standards.
• Acts as resource person for staff and ensures image quality with proper views and markers.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation protection during procedures.
• Ensures efficient patient workflow and supports equipment troubleshooting.
• Maintains clean work area and stocks supplies in their room.
• Performs lab testing as appropriate.
• Processes and prepares images and paperwork for timely reporting.
• Coordinates patient flow and data entry into HIS and PACS systems.
• Contributes to QA, QC and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assists in training staff and students and promotes teamwork.
