Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. Independent judgment is required to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Registered in Radiography (ARRT) and BLS within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) in Illinois.
• Certificate/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and safely.
• Maintains image quality with proper positioning, filters and identifiers.
• Ensures patient comfort and radiation protection during procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment and supports workflow in the imaging room.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and records in HIS/Radiant/PACS.
