Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires independent judgment to adapt procedures for exact results.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required in radiography.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (IEMA).
• Education: Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology; Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Related field work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately per guidelines.
• Serves as resource for staff; ensures image quality with proper technique.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation safety during procedures.
• Manages equipment and troubleshooting; maintains clean work area.
• Prepares images and paperwork promptly to enable timely reports.
• Coordinates patient flow and data entry into HIS/Radiant and PACS.
• Assists in training technologists and students; participates in QA and teamwork.
