Job summary

St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform established radiographic procedures in a fast-paced department. The role requires precise positioning, patient communication, and strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image quality control, and collaboration with Radiologists. Wisconsin license and ARRT RT certification are required, with BLS to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiology positioning and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history as needed.
• Position patients and select exposure factors, ensure protection and safety.
• Process and label images, ensure image quality and documentation for billing.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other staff in patient care.
• Maintain records and data entry in radiology information systems.
