Ideal candidates have Wisconsin radiography licensure, ARRT RT registration, and BLS certification within 6 months. Strong communication and safety skills are essential in this hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin and ARRT RT registration; BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain history.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors, ensuring radiation safety.
• Identifies patient and labels images; ensures exam accuracy and billing codes.
